When you buy a snack for your child, be careful of the type of snack you get. It has been proven that most of our popular brands are actually made with cancer causing petroleum products.
The artificial coloring, the commonly used food dyes – such as Yellow 5 and Red 40 are all made from petroleum and can lead to serious health problems in our children. Some health problems these products can cause include allergic reactions, eczema, ear infections, hyperactivity in children, asthma, bed-wetting, hypersensitivity, obesity, diabetes, mood swings, headaches sleep disturbances, hypoglycemia, increased risky behavior, chromosomal damage, ADD/ADHD, hives and cancer (as seen in animal studies).
In Europe the use of food dyes have been banned by the British government andEuropean Union because of their high toxicity.

Red #40: This color can destroy DNA. Yellow #5 and Yellow #6: These colors can cause cancer: Apart from the stated dangers these colors can cause as they are all produced from petroleum, they can also be responsible for hyperactivity, allergic reactions and cancer.

All these are varieties of detrimental sugar. TBHQ is a toxic compound, it can cause vomiting, ringing in the ear, nausea, collapse and delirium. Studies have shown that it causes stomach cancer in lab rats; it also fragments DNA and can cause severe damage to humane lungs and umbilical cells. TBHQ can cause restlessness, anxiety and can also intensify the symptoms of ADHD in children.
These cheesy snacks that are orange in color are made from Yellow 6 as used in M&M. They are a petroleum derivative and are detrimental to the health of your children. The cheese flavoring is also dangerous as it comprises of methyl benzoate and ethyl methylphenidate.
You can encourage your kids to eat organic snacks or fruits like apples and oranges. They can also take vegetables like carrots which are crunchy and contain vitamin A which is good for good eyesight and skin.
